Bees and Baubles X Aashima Behl

Hello Loves!

We hope that you guys are enjoying your vacays and are chilling somewhere amazing. It’s always great to give yourselves a little break and have fun. There is a need to break this monotony in our lives to function better. Same thing goes for your fashion and styling. Experimenting is always a great idea. You never know if it’s going to turn out right but that is the beauty of it.

So, we went for something unconventional this time. These two looks are totally different from one another and also different from things that we’ve done in the past. The designer, Aashima Behl, is obsessed with Victorian clothing and resort wear. We thought of showcasing these two styles in our blog story. As you walk into her store, all you see are pretty and pleasant colors with a tinge of chic-ness to every apparel.

Resort wear is the need of the time. With all those holiday plans, you need something like what we wore. It’s playful, comfortable and definitely stylish. Playsuits seem to do it all for you. You don’t have to put a lot of thought into styling them and they turn out so classy (we cannot deny that!). So, Himanshi went for a polka dotted white play suit with a bow detailing at the lower back. The bottoms had a skirt detailing making it different from every other playsuit you have ever seen. It’s great for those of you who have a heavier lower body. Gona wore a tube playsuit with a bow detailing at the waist and the neck making it so ideal for a sunny day out. We added white henna tattoos to our look instead of accessories to experiment a little.

Look 2
Back then in 20’s things used to be simple and elegant. The designer takes her inspiration from the Victorian era and came up with these two absolutely pretty gowns. We loved everything about those gowns, from the color to the make to those intricate details. Himanshi wore the powder blue gown with a beautiful neck detailing making it sexy and pretty at the same time. Gona wore this lavender colored gown with a sleeve detailing making it look so effortless and elegant. Himanshi curled her short hair which gave her a very different and appealing look overall. Gona tied up her hair in a very pretty low bun which complemented the whole outfit.
