Winters in Delhi are really tricky this time. One day you want to put 5 layers of clothes on your body while on other days you wish to jump in a pool. Okay, not really. But you get the feel, right!? In order to back you up this season and look cool in this oh-so-weird weather, we wanted to create something you can go in throughout the day.
Boyfriend Blazer is one of the best things that we would totally recommend you to own this winter. You can use one blazer in so many multiple ways that it might surprise you and will be one of your wisest investments (we promise!). You can even raid your boyfriend’s closet. There is a reason they call it Boyfriend Blazer! The key is to identify the right structure of your blazer according to what you’re going to layer it over. So, here we are, helping you to style your blazer in two totally different and cool ways! You can pair your blazer with a dress (like Himanshi) and confidently walk into a party or pair it with a shirt & shorts (Like Gona) and show up at a formal event. This red bodycon dress needed a less formal blazer. So, this black cape-kinda-blazer worked well for the dress. On the other hand, this grey blazer was more on the formal and androgynous side. We paired it with a cool mint colored shirt and similar grey color shorts for a proper suit feel. Since Himanshi’s outfit was a li’l badass, we added ankle length boots with it. To add to all that badass-ness multi layered chains and gold rings worked right. We finished the look by adding this round sling bag. Gona’s look demanded a well structured white bag and a statement neckpiece. We added a lapel pin on the blazer to level up the suit-up feel. Those mint platform sandals summed up the whole look. We definitely felt like some cool kids. You can judge that pretty much from our expressions! Oh, and if you are wondering where did we get that cool scooter from, this is just outside Woodbox Café in Hudson lane, Delhi. This café is pretty quirky with a very nice ambiance. Do stop by next time you’re around.
Take Care, you guys!
