How to dress up on Rakshabandhan!
Hope you all are having an amazing Rakshabandhan. I love Indian festivals!! I mean the whole vibe, everyone’s in a good mood, sending gifts, shopping and how can I forget dress up . Ahh!! I absolutely love it.
I know I’m super late but I still wanted to post this, as it might help some of you guys to plan out and rock your ethnic outfits for future upcoming festivals or maybe you could add a little bit of quirk in your today’s outfit.
About the LOOK.
For this rakshabandhan I went with something really bright and vibrant which did proper justice to our Indian ethnic feel . I wore this faballey blue kurta which comes with an attached skirt which is a perfect match of style and comfort. This skirt really added a lot to this outfit. I love traditional wear because of its beauty and comfort. And one of the most important part about this outfit are my accessories. I went for an all BANJARAN look. I wore these big silver chand Bali earnings along with a clip on nath with a motif of peacock which was a perfect add to this look (this is the first time I wore it). I also carried this beautiful hand embroided sling bag which ended up being the statement part of this look. I also wore a silver anklet which I picked up from Jaipur last year, you can find similar ones in Dilli Haat or Janpath.
I shot the look on the streets of Janpath from where I bought these accessories. The whole vibe and feel of the shoot just matched and I personally love such effortless looks!
