Weekends call for lazy, comfortable and your go-to outfits (atleast for me), unless its a Saturday night!
Since we had to shoot 2 looks with Gona in one day & the first one was on the dressier side (see here), I wanted the second one to be a total contrast. That’s where I decided to do a look on jersey dresses!
We all love jersey dresses, don’t we? They are easy to get in, simple to carry and at the same time looks oh-so-sexy! Plus you don’t have to think about the footwear as well, sneakers for the win, always(!!!).
Le weekend is basically THE post for the people who don’t want to invest much time in dressing up & are too lazy to even think about clothes on weekend or maybe are in a hurry or just too busy in life but still want to get that style quotient on point. This is where our baubles come to the rescue! I made her wear this black & golden, very punky looking ear-cuff which also seems like a caterpillar to me (talk about imagination?) and these super amazing headphones which I got as a birthday present last year & have loved since then. I have used these dark-grey polka dotted headphones as an accessory this time as it fits with a laid-back look, so perfectly!
Also, if in case you’re not having a good hair day (unlike Gona) or even if you’re having one, go for a messy top knot (high bun) with such dresses. I personally prefer that, as it gives a much more relaxed look to the whole thing.
So, jersey dresses are for all you people out there who, on weekends, make their shopping trips or catch up with long lost friends after a long hectic week (like myself) and live on last minute dressing (well, mostly!). So go ahead, add one jersey dress to your wardrobe for a fuss free weekend and don’t forget to style it up with some baubles!
