Don't burn a pataaka, be one !

Hey loves,
I hope everyone’s doing good! I know you guys must be busy, because of course Diwali!! Yes, Nation’s favorite festival is around the corner and let’s face it, One of the biggest issue we face during festivals is (Dressing-Up) and finding the perfect outfit for different occasions like Pre Diwali party, Post Diwali party, Office parties and much more! We are always in need of something good to wear; whether it’s a festival or an occasion– you get it, right? Since there’s always been a tradition of wearing ethnic clothes on a festival, we only look for lehengas, anarkalis or saris. We end up wearing the same old boring clothes like everyone else does!

But this Diwali, I am not going to burn a pataka but “Be One” 😛 Yes, I’ve found perfect pair of outfit from my new found love for online shopping “Recap Jeans” , known as young, hip, modern denimwear brand. Their fits, silhouttes, fabrics and washes ensure that once a woman gets into their jeans she woudn’t want to get out of them. RECAP Jeans offers a wide variety of denim categories like ankle lengths, shorts, capris, culottes etc in a wide variety of fits along with fashionable and classic topwear.

Being a fashion blogger, It’s my universal duty to pull off the trends and experiment with fashion on a daily note, I am very choosy when it comes to my clothes and I hardly do experiments which end up looking bizarre 😀
Coming back to the blogpost, I tried to do something which is way too different from my own style and what I usually wear but I kinda liked how paired my floral choker top and the skinny fit denims! Check these out!!

Look 1-
I am a huge fan of 90’s, I always tend to put a little pinch of retro theme in my shoots and this time, I took inspiration from the iconic diva of those times “Zeenat Aman”, I don’t think I need to exaggerate anything about her beauty and persona, I was so influenced by her for this particular look, so I paired this choker neck top ( from Recap) and these flared pants with big golden hoops and pastel eyes to add some drama and nude lips to complete the feel of this outfit. It was fun posing with different props such as vintage telephone and an old suitcase to add some quirkiness. I just love wearing this top as it has two of my favorite detailings- Choker neck and bell sleeves, trust me guys, its one of the must haves this season! And you gotta check out Recap’s collection for all the new stuff! (I will be mentioning the link below)

Look 2-
For this look, I chose to wear a bralette with lace detailings, a leather jacket and of course my favorite pair of denims recently from (Recap) and these ankle boots with socks which are everywhere on the internet ,one thing that I have always wanted to do was to try a black lipstick with metallic touch ,and Damn! I think I’ve achieved my goal! Just kidding! You guys are the best for giving my reviews on it, so, don’t forget to do that :P. Moreover, the fit of these denims was magical, they allowed me to pose as I wanted to, they are one of the most comfortable pair of denims I’ve ever had in my entire life!! So, as the winters are approaching, I kept the inclination of this look more towards it!

That’s how I am gonna dress up this Diwali, hope this post will help you guys for the same!!
