Shades of Fall | Ritu Kumar
I hope y’all are doing great as I am doing amazing and really happy to hit 8k on instagram today (sending 8k virtual hugs to all of you)! If you’re following me there, you must be knowing that I just came back from my Dubai trip where I went for few events and did some amazing shoots for you guys (blogposts to follow).
So the Label with which I have collaborated for this post needs no introduction. Yes, it is Label Ritu Kumar!
Ritu Kumar is known for her traditional wear, beautiful detailed work and intricate embroideries on each piece. She also has beautiful RTW (ready-to-wear) line, which consists of these gorgeous floral prints, soothing colors and appealing silhouettes.
From the whole Fall/Winter collection, I chose my favorite 4 pieces, very different yet close to my personal style.
Looks like a perfect shopping outfit to me or maybe for a garden outing/picnic with the girls (you still do that, right?). I tied a knot as the dress was too flowy, you can wear it either way. Also, I am deliberately wearing flats here, as we know how much we girls have to walk to find that perfect dress or heels when shopping & also we can’t really wear heels for a garden picnic, can we?
How about you have an event at office but you still gotta wear pants? Yeah, I start imagining as soon as I see an outfit. Teaming up with a grey bag & black pointed heels, I kept it classy and simple as there’s already alot going on over the pants and subtle embroidery on the top too!
This dress was the prettiest of the lot. I loved the way it fitted me like a glove & was still so flowy. The color was so soothing and made me feel very happy when I wore it (new favorite color, maybe?). I wore my metallic block heels & also used a pink camera as my prop (which is actually a piggy bank)!
If there’s a showstopper dress for every fashion show, then this is my showstopper outfit of the blogpost. I had such badass vibes while shooting this red gown. This piece is so classy and versatile as it can be worn to any wedding functions, reception etc. I wore sunglasses and a hand harness to complete this one.
