Styling For UNICEF
No matter what we do or where we go, one person in our lives won’t judge us for being the total mess that we are. She always knows and knows it well before. Yes, you guessed it right – Mothers. Who else would that be!? We got this amazing opportunity to style for UNICEF with Uncommonsense Films production house. This styling project is special for a lot of reasons, the cause and the awareness that comes with this campaign being the major one. This campaign is based on immunizing your child and how moms always go for what’s best for their children.
The shoot was scheduled over two days at a beautiful farmhouse. We had to style 8 women who came from a totally different background and lifestyles and were mothers-to-be. So, there were basically two ad films to be shot- one for the working women and the other for housewives. Even though these women were different in many ways, one thing tied them together, that they were going to be mothers and that they wanted the best for their child. We went for a very subtle and pleasant color scheme all over which was mostly around pastels and soft hues. In order to keep their looks minimal and glow-y, we went for a very subtle makeup and minimal accessories.
Every project is challenging in its own way. We wanted to focus on each and every detail in order to bring out each character and their lifestyle. We hope that you love the ad films and get a bit emotional. It is amazingly shot and compiled. All thanks to Uncommonsense Films. We will be coming with more such styling posts.
